A close collaboration with the following host institutions ensures the successful implementation of the program:
Japan Center for Michigan Universities, Hikone, JAPAN
JCMU is a consortium of 13 Michigan public universities and has a campus in Hikone, Japan. The 2011 Japan/Taiwan Study Abroad Program will use the facility of JCMU and participate as JCMU’s May short program. The program has collaborated with JCMU extensively in 2009 and a strong working relationship was built.
Tamkang University, Taipei, TAIWAN
Founded in 1950 TKU is one of the major private universities in Taiwan. Located in beautiful town of Tamsui, TKU offers many educational programs for students from diversified backgrounds. In 2006, the University of Michigan-Flint established a cooperative relationship with TKU that promotes one-year exchange of qualified undergraduate junior-year students.
